§ 70.99. PENALTY.

- (A) Any provision of this chapter which describes an act or omission which constitutes a civil infraction under the terms of the Michigan Uniform Traffic Code adopted by reference in § 70.01 shall be processed as a civil infraction and any person found to have committed a civil infraction may be ordered to pay a civil fine of not more than $100 and costs.(B) Violation of any other provision of this chapter not constituting a civil infraction as herein provided shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $500 or imprisonment for not more than 90 days or by both such fine and imprisonment.(Ord. 134, passed 4-9-80; Am.
